Seems a trophy around here lately is a spikehorn with both sides. Not looking too great this year so far, not as many does as usual. Gotta keep moving and see what I can find.

Shot this guy back in 1990 with a 69# Groves takedown, 2219 aluminum shaft and Bhoning Blazer broadhead. Scored 152 7/8 PY. I shot a bear in 1982 that would have made PY if I had chosen to enter it.

I agree David, your always going to have a few guys like that. The guy that overheard it needs to call the Pope and Young and let them no.

P&Y printed a book a few years back that has nothing but listing of trophies taken with traditional equipment. I bought it at the last PBS banquet I went to. Its a big book with thousands of entries!

Two of my three traditional bow animals that would qualify. My third was a next morning recovery that had been found by the coyotes. I was so sick about it I didn't take field photos. I no longer leave 'em over night if I am sure of the hit.

I'd sure love to take one of those big whities---I do have a mulie in the P&Y listings and he was a thrill. I was in Western Kansas at the time and managed to take a nice one. Now I am in Southern Indiana and loking for one of those monster whities.

Wapiti792, I love how the bucks in your area have that slight hook to the brow tines, Couple of dandy's there. Coyotes have NO respect for a book animal!
