Question for Widow Owners
« on: September 20, 2010, 11:38:00 PM »
I have a PMA 3 I want to get refinished and reduced in weight. Anyone know how much weight can be reduced and turn around time? I'd like to get 5 to 7 pounds off and would like to hear your experiences. Thanks!

You will have to contact Widow directly with the serial # and your question for a firm answer.  I had a 59# TF that I wanted reduced and when I contacted them, they said it was already at the minimum poundage and could not even reduce 2 #.  Good luck.

With the serial number, Widdow can look it up and tell you almost exactly how much they will be able to take it down.... they keep very good records of each bow they make.

The guys above are correct-- call em to get an estimate on how much they can take off.

I had this done on a PSAIII in July this year. They took a 58# down to 52#. I had them add a slogan under my name. Including shipping the whole deal cost $140. The bow was as is new and still was when they returned it.

The bow is much more comfortable for me to shoot, but it still didn't make it to the top of the heap for hunting this year.
