Buck "grawl"
« on: September 21, 2010, 08:03:00 AM »
Last two yearsI have used a MAD Buck Grawl call... You might want to try a "grawl" !  I had so many bucks come into it.. amazing! Maybe I just do it right ...but I like it.
Has anyone else tried a "grawl" ??? For us TRADS we need them in close..and this works !

is this a commercial?
Spinning faster round the pole. Soon to old from chasing gold. Young hands wrinkle, hearts to stone. Dust to dust and ashes cold

I never heard of a buck "grawl".  What is it?  Who sells it?

I think I know the sound your referring to.Ive never used it but did kill a smelly old buck that was doing it while he was chasing a doe.I heard him for a long time before I saw him and thought it was an injured deer.He never "classic grunted" the whole time I was listening. It would of been interesting to see what came in to see what was going down had I passed him and not shot.

Thanks for the product review.

It's good to know when something actually works and contrarily, it's also good to know when they don't.

I use one all the time.  It is definately the best Growl or grunt call I have ever used.  I have called more deer in with these than all the other calls combined.

I bought 2 different types and found the "grunt" from the M.A.D. call to be good but the "growl" from the Primos call to be better. The Primos also has a "wheeze" and a band to strap to your arm. The calls have really worked well...Ryan

I too have used it, but it's a draw between the M.A.D. "Growl" and my True Talker.  Both have brought deer into range equally.

There was a hunter near me last year who scared every deer out of Michigan with his, and I got to watch LOL! Public land deer here are too wary for those aggressive calls.   :nono:
Just one more step please!
