Elevated position
«

I just got done shooting an all day in the back yard event at my house. And I have noticed that when I shoot from an elevated position even at only 5 feet off the ground that I am way more accurate with my broadheads ( cutting the fletching's off and slicing into arrows)hitting 2-3 inch groups at 15-20 yrds. Even though I am shooting 4-8 inch groups on level ground.
So has this happened to anyone else? And if so why?

I have never noticed a difference in my target shooting elevated or not, but have noticed a difference in hunting shots. When hunting, I pick a hair or swirl or something to shoot at on a deer, and 99% or the time the fletch goes through it perfectly. I imagine it is just focus and concentration being peaked for me when hunting. Might be the same for you when shooting from elevation.

It dose shorten the yardage alittle and that maybe why making the shoot easier. You might want to video yourself on the ground and elevated to see if your form is better when elevated. For me variations in my shooting are always in my form.

I shoot better out of my backyard tree stand than on the ground.....no clue why except maybe the sight line? Thank GOD I hunt 95% out of a tree!
