Fletchings

[Cal bow]

I like bright light red (others may call them pink). I see them fly well and I can find them most of the time. The bright yellow nock also helps.

The most visible i used is orange hen and white cock feathers. Couldnbt get myself to fletch in pink...perhaps i am not manly enough   :p

I'm using yellow feathers with a white cap and nock this year. They show up fairly well.

I like all Chartruese or lime...it is my understanding that green is the last color refelcted by a human eye in low light -- thus the reason all top pins on bow sights are green...you see it the best.  

The lime color from AMG feathers is ridiculously bright to me in low light conditions.  White is always a good choice as well.  

Pink shows up awesome in the strong daylight, but I lose it in really low light, as "reds" are the first to go in the vision spectrum as light fades -- at least that's my understanding.

Experimented with colored feathers through the years and the highest visibility for my eyes are
chartreuse/florescent green with a florescent green nock, especially in low light.

Take, you favorite color and hot pink, white, and chartreuse fletching, and just at dark, shoot them  in your yard just out of your low light sight.  Notice which one look highest viz in flight, then walk over the direction of shooting and see which on your eyes picks up first in the grass. Chartreuse for me everytime.

Although only my number one arrow is fletched chartreuse, the others in the quiver are natural barred turkey with white nocks, because I've been busted by bright fletching the woods.

Say or think what you want, but from my experiences, all animals seem to pick up white or light bright colors with movement, where as you may get away with a little more movement with natural barred.

flo green/ chartruce, glows in low light. I use a chartruce bannana  barred/solid with chartruce zebra wraps from onestringer. theyll get you lined out with your perfect wrap.

PINK!!! 2 pink one white. And wrap them with reflective tape so you can find it in the dark.
