Mickey: that lower bow in your photo looks like one of Timo's carp skin bows.
You've got a real nice collection.
I think a skinned selfbow shoots better. I also feel sneakier when I carry one.

What type of skin is that on your middle bow?
I like the darkness of it, I'm thinking about trying to dye a rattlesnake skin brown before I apply it, maybe even green, brown and black diagonal stripes.

not real sure, it was roadkill
(that's where most of my skins come from)
It is some type of rat snake I believe.....
I won't kill bullsnakes or rat snakes, but I will sure pick em up off the road if they are in good enough shape (and fresh enough :D )
Now a rattler on the other hand......
