Has anyone used the Repair kits to lengthen wooden arrows?

I always see good deals on cedar, spruce arrows in the classifieds but they are usually to short. I was wondering if anyone has used the repair kits to lengthen their arrows this way? If so lets see some pic's....there is a dynamite set of footed arrows in the classifieds but to short...thought I might have to try and lengthen them.

I have used the Reap arrow extension. It worked pretty well. If the taper on your arrow is straight, the trick is then to glue on the extension and keep it straight as the glue dries. Don't know about putting it on arrows that are already footed.

I've been very pleased using Reparrows for fixing shafts that were broken right behind the point. They fly just as well as a new shaft. I don't see any reason why you couldn't use them to lengthen shafts.

I've used old aluminum arrow pieces to lenghten cedars. Just find the size that fits the OD of your arrows and use hot glue to glue them on. Leave an inch or more to slide on the wooden shaft. You now will also have a cedar arrow that you can use with screw in points. it will change the spine some, depending on the length of the aluminum shaft.

Yep, used Reparrows for that. It makes you feel good to buy some short arrows for cheap and get some good shooters out of them.

All arows are too short (for me).
I use Jim's Reparrows on the nock end under a wrap for a new arrow, and fix broken ones with them on the point end....
Sorry, no pictures.
