well the fellas should be in the stands and blinds on the mountain this morning, its killing me not to be there with them!! hope they all have a great time and have a chance to make meat with the stick and string. i'll hit the woods Saterday! GOOD LUCK to all that are out there today!!!

Took a drive up north last Saturday-- saw one of those famously rare ADK bucks (this one a big spike) crossing the street in Old Forge around noon. Hmmmmmm.....................

Spent a half a day in the woods this AM. The only thing going on was the acorns falling like rain, there was some of that also.Warm and a bit breezy, but not bad for sitting. Used the new ground blinds which took me a bit find in the dark, in fact blind #2 I didn't find until after day light!  lol!!!

I will be heading north thursday afternoon.The first night in a real nice log home that my good friend owns,and camping on a pond for the next two nights.I am really looking foward to a weekend of hunting and fishing with a good friend.He shot a nice little buck this morning.He shoots a compound,but I am working on him.Glen

Glen take pic's man! looking like we will have a big crew this weekend on the mountain, weather is looking good on the forcast and my heart is about to jump out of my chest with not being able to hunt yet!!! looks like Bowspirit will be pulling the first all nighter to brake camp in from Thursday to friday with Zmonster staying all weekend and possibly myself. warms my soul to see my brothers call the mountain home like i have for so many years and to be able to share a camp with them is just icing on the cake. now if the deer would show themselves ohhhhhhh boy!!!!
