My little guy shooting it up!
« on: September 27, 2010, 04:18:00 PM »
Finally found a little bow that suits my little guy.  His anchor point is a tad high.     :bigsmyl:

Man I love doing stuff like this with him!  He's my shadow, so when I'm shooting...now he's shooting too instead of just pretending.  He'll be 3 this coming December.  What an awesome thing!

Very Nice! I bought my daughter a Mojo Stick longbow for Christmas a couple years back. 20lbs. Keep an eye out for the Christmas specials.

LOL, ya gotta start somewhere's, J., and at least he's getting his eye down into it - or vice versa. It's really a cute pic but I'll wait till he gets "settled in" a bit more to copy a pic for my Full Draw pages, I think - so he won't hate us both later on - LOL. I love it though and love his attraction to our chosen sport.

I have plans for a Maddog Pup for him before too much longer.     :D     Then I'll b esure to get you a full draw pick Bernie.

I forgot to mention his "silly bands" he wears (since that's apparently a new thing that all kids wear?????) are hunting silly bands.  They are arrows, deer, turkeys, and just a buck's head.  ha!

My 3 yo has the same set-up including the Thomas the Tank Engine Conductor Hat...

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Like I said, J. I really love the pic and it is a real "family keeper" (probably should even be blown up and framed for posterity). He'll thank us for waiting for the regular Full Draw pic for the traditional Bows Drawn "record" though - LOL I can see this one appearing (again) in one of those "Old Timer's Old Pictures" threads wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy in the future, when the boy is my age -     :D
