Looking forward to Friday, be safe and pick a spot. Nice and cool weather with frost warnings for the weekend.      :archer:

Count me in! I am usually no more than a bystander watching deer for the first week or so because the weather is so warm and processing deer in that heat just doesnt work.....but it sounds cool as you guys noted, might just have to shoot AT one. Have fun and good luck all!

They will likely be moving for sure with this cold front!  I'm stuck working all weekend!  Post up any pics if you get one so at least I'll feel like I'm at hunting camp!

Good luck to all!! I hope to get out but it could be difficult with a bunch of family coming to town for a 4pm wedding on sat. I can't believe some one would get married during hunting season.

I am getting pretty pumped up. Jumped a nice buck last friday while hanging a stand. Just what I needed to get me going.
Good luck to all.

I have been checking equipment, sharpening broadheads and counting the hours until Friday.  I live for this time of year- I feel like a kid at Christmas time.  I will have my ten year old daughter in the ground blind with me on opening day.   For me, it gets no better than that! I cannot wait.  Best of Luck to everyone, be safe and have fun.

I won't be able to hunt my normal spot until the second weekend.  I have to get the pontoon out at the cottage up north this weekend.  I may be able to sneak out on some state land and do some ground hunting, but the deer population is pretty low around there.

Back to hunting here after the 6th, want Paige to get first w/ a bow, lots of deer around the farm couldn't buy one during the early doe season but thats hunting. Todd
