My first was a 45# old green fiberglass bow with a white handle. Not sure of the make but that was many moons ago!
My first real wood tradbow was a 58# LaClair Hunter longbow.

My first bow of any kind (except for a little green fiberglass job I had when I was a kid) was a hickory selfbow I made in a class put on by the Primitive Bowhunters of Illinois. It was 66" NTN, and drew 64# @ 28. I only hunted with it for a year, but still have it.

A wooden bow from Sears in 1955 than a Sears fiberglass bow a couple of years later.

An old Bear that my Grandmother bought me in 1969 used it for shooting turles in the pond as a boy. Funny thing,, after all these years and many bows in between I am back to using a Fred Bear Takedown.
