Just got my first at Christmas.  Browning Nomad Stalker II, 50# @ 28".  It is the only one I have so I am shooting it everyday.

All my guns and compounds have been strictly off of the shelf.  SInce I entered this trad archery kick in 2002 my bows have been either custom or vintage.  Go figure.

My first bows were osage selfbows I made myself.  My first purchased traditional bow was a Martin Mountaineer ML-14, 60# @28.  I still have it in my bow rack.

My first trad bow was a Martin Dream Catcher...60", 45# @ 28"...My wife bought it for me when we were in Kittery ME...The sale price was $249...Go Figure...

Cherry limb with braided tobbacco twine string...app.30#draw. River cane arrows w/ duct tape fletch and 16 penny nails taped on....many rabbits. That was along time ago.     Later i got me a Bear Grizzly 56" 45# @28" killed my first buck with it using a old 160 gr. howard hill head.

My big sister gave me a pink fiberglass bow when I was 7.  Draw weight was probably 10 - 12 #.

First real bow was a Pearson Predator in 1973 - 55#.  Stupidly dropped out of archery for several decades, but got back in about 4 years ago.  I still have the Pearson and it's been joined by a few others.
