52"treadway...couldn't shoot it well no matter what I did. Also my first longbow so probably more me than the bow.
TGMM-Family of the Bow

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

54" Shrew.  Great little bow, changed my view of what a "longbow" was.

56" Shrew CH 29 3/4" draw.  No problems, and I am on the list.  :readit:    I shot a Lost Creek 58" for a year when I drew about 29 1/4". It was not bad at all.  Most other R/D LB's I need 60" and 62" is best.

54" Centaur, shoots great. 54" Morrison ILF, also shoots great. I draw 26", so pinch is not an issue.

Same here. Shrews are incredible. Even the 54" works very well at my 29.5" draw length.

My 58" Elburg Cherokee Magnum.  I believe Harry Elburg was ahead of his time in bow design and in making short longbows that really perform.

58" Super Shrew for me, fine shooter.  Maybe a dumb question but at what point does a longbow become a shortbow?  Seems like near everything is called a longbow nowadays.   :dunno:

Made a bow out of a carbon arrow.
Shot pretty darn fast really. Consistent too.

But I don't think that counts.

I got a 52" Lost Creek from Coaster on here and I love this little bow!  I draw 28" and it stacks a little the last inch of draw before I hit anchor but not enough to make it uncomfortable or affect it's smoothness.  I also have skinny fingers so no problems with finger pinch either.  I'm able to shoot softball size groups with it at 20 yards so it will be lethal in a brush blind or my climber that has the bar across the front.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)
