I prefer my 56" ThunderChild and I draw it to nearly 31"s. I find it comfortable, but normally suggest 58" for those with a draw similar to mine. I have thick fingers yet notice no pinch. I guess I suggest the 58" for longer draw simply because you never know how sensitive other archers can be.

New style 58" ACS. Shoots like there longer bows. I draw to 28" and it still pulls as smooth as my 66"

I had a 58" Morrison Dakota. Awesome shooter.

I had a 64" Big Jim Buffalo. It was 86# at 28". Unfortunately, I destroyed the top tip. My fault.

My buddy, Nathan Steele at Bama Bows, fixed it for me. It is now 56" and 98# at 28". It is on its way to me. I will let you know how it shoots.

Both are really smooth. I actually draw them just a bit over 28".

52" Shrew Classic Hunter.  Great bow and draws amazingly smooth out to my 28" draw.

Shortest bow I have ever shot was the little Herders recurve, it was lousy.  the shortest longbow is my wifes Lost Creek NAT. The NAT is faster with same arrows than a 52" recurve we have that is ten pounds heavier, at my 26.5" draw it is smoother, more accurate, has less string angle on the fingers so it gets a better release and it is much quieter.

I am not particularly enamoured with my 52" Abbott or 52" Snow Shoe Bows Bear Paw, but love my Rodney Wright 52" Buffalo Stick.
