Here is what I did to allow me to use the chair and carry in my gear. I found a Remington shoulder bag at Wal-Mart for $16 and bought a couple of caribiners. Fits perfect and attaches through the gromets on each side at the top of the seat and the shoulder strap hooks on the bag. No mods needed to anything. When you get where you are going you can unhook the bag if you want to hunt without the chair.

Rick....I'm using the rancho safari....and yes...you have to clip the bow arm and chest on the bow arm side.....AND, you might have to clip the hat a bit if you cant the bow.

Ringneck....that's a neat set up.

Mine came yesterday. I immediately took it outside set it up against a tree and sat down. My first thought was "where have you been all my life". This seat is great and for tuekeys this spring "I can't wait". Shooting from any position is no problem.

I have last years model(no stand-alone feature) and it weighs 4#,2oz complete with tennis balls on the front legs. So far I've used it during turkey season and I agree with all the praise. Very well built and well thought out design. Compared to the weight and cost of any tree stand, you can appreciate the value and versatility this offers. The new stand-alone design has to be even more versatile.

I want to understand how this is used.

Am I correct in that if you are leaning against a tree only the front two legs are on the ground and the back legs are folded up to the top of the back.
But if your out from it or just sitting in brush you use the back legs like any other chair?

Thanks!

God bless,Mudd

Is the seat about the right hight for use out of a pop-up ground blind?

Your rear is going to be about 10-12" off the ground. Might be a little low for the pop up.
