Jasper Arrow Heads?

I live where there is jasper.  Does anyone make heads from this rock?  I think the Native American heads found locally of this material are often spear points.

I haven't had a chance to work any jasper, but being somewhat of a knapper myself I have heard from many people that enjoy working jasper. And I have seen many beautiful points made from it. Depending on the type of jasper you have around there, it may need to be heat treated.

W. Tim is right!  Durable, sharp, and nice-looking.  The jasper, that is, although it might also be true for W. Tim.  GGG
