There is no cure and there is no end.  Enjoy, and you are right about the folks on this site.  I don't know any of them in person but I have bought a back quiver from the classifieds and even had a fellow archer that made me a dozen woodies and sent them before he recieved payment.  It's amazing that after all the crap that people do to other people, we still have some fantasic people here that are willing to trust someone they don't even know.  It gives me satisfaction because in my line of work I only see the bad in people and this site is a breath of fresh air.  It's my drug, my serenity, sorry for rambling.

If this is sickness-I'm all for it. \\\\best of luck and enjoyment in the life.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

If this is a sickness, I hope it becomes an epidemic and the whole world catches it....

Man, I agree.  I have been a compound shooter since I was old enough to draw a bow (about 20 yrs.), but last year my dad bought a used super kodiak.  It is a very beautiful bow, and after shooting it one time, I am now hooked on traditional archery.  All I can think about is the next time I will get loose to shoot. I have my own bow now, and I am attempting to become some what accurate with it.  There is almost nothing in the world as pretty as an arrow in flight from a traditional bow,  And few things more addictive than traditional archery.
God bless and happy hunting

NOT a SICKNESS. Sickness implies there is something wrong. I am addicted and there is a great support group for it. LOL A support group and addiction all at the same time. It's a wonderful thing with a lot of great people.
I got slapped with the bow bug a little over a month ago. Don't know where it came from, just all the sudden I wanted a bow badly, and it kept getting worse. I got a bow from a tradganger on here. Thank you again Smalson. I shoot everyday, have missed a couple days and it sucks when that happens. Now I can't wait to go hunting.

ONLY  10-Steps?? I would think that along with the  "NO CURE"  Comments, it would take Many, Many More Steps to get Out. But I dont know anyone that Wants Out, so that makes the Cure a  Worthless Pursuit!!   :archer:    :goldtooth:

Running through the briar patch at Shawn's rabbit hunt should cure you.  You should think about coming, you're close by and you won't regret it.

Unfortunately, the sickness has baffled doctors and researchers for ages.  You cannot cure it...you can only relieve the symptoms.  The best way I have found to relieve the symptoms is to go hunting!

It is joy, and there is no need for a cure, but you will need more joy on a regular basis.
