This is why Mexico doesn't have Big rack bucks. When a Government does things the wrong way it hurts Us all as Hunters.

Only if Mexico could do this like some of the Record States DNR, They would have Monster Bucks. I Mean the temps down there are little better then Texas and Texas has some monsters.

Little Rock AFB has started a doe before buck policy for flight safety, better wildlife management and to help with the tick problem.  A nice doe sure is good eating too.

I dont know about this statement.I sure belief the ecperience of a hunter like getstoneprimitive, but around here i would say old does and old bucks are equally smart. The difference being that the bucks hormons erase his smartness when they jump in.

Like a friend told me one time, "If God didn't intend for me to shoot does, he wouldn't have made them out of meat."

Food, plain & simple.
I've taken a few Bucks in the past, nice ones too but to me the antlers are a plus, I'm out there to take venison for my family & with many areas around here where the populations are up to 40:1 Does to Buck ratio it makes sence to help thin the heard for a much better deer in the long run.
Zona Custom Recurve: 60" 49# @ 27.5".
Sky Sky Hawk Recurve: 60" 47# @ 27.5".
Genesis 27:3 Now therefore, please take thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and hunt game for me.

My family prefers the meat of does over bucks, I can't tell the difference except with rutting bucks.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

"Why Shoot A Doe?" Cause I have no interest in a deer with Drag Handles! That's why.  :p
