Well my "Classic" Mohawk arrived 20 days after I ordered it!!!!!!
What a sweet bow, 50# @ 30". After consulting Stu's program (this man is a genius), it only took me a couple of hours to get the perfect set up. This includes cutting and fletching a couple of different batches of arrows.
I've owned over 30 different bows both long bows and recurves from all the best bowyers. If I had all that money back I could go to Africa a couple of times to hunt
This bow is smooth, quite and a dream to shoot. Tore my shoulder up a 2 years ago, so I sold my higher poundage bows. This bow feels alot lighter than 50#. Checked it on my scale and a perfect 50#.
Final arrow set up is Beman Classic ICS 340's, 31.75", 3-5 inch shield cut feathers,100 grain brass inserts, 125 grain heads, (225 grains total), 571 grains total arrow weight, 18.5% FOC, 11.4 grains/# and shooting 164 fps.
I told Vince I wanted a good looking hunting machine. He recommended the "Classic" with Bacote riser and overlays, actionboo cores and black glass, with white and black micarta tips.
I have plenty of pics but am having trouble figuring out how to add to this thread
I'm an engineer so I'm probably making this harder then it needs to be. At least that what my wife always tells me :p
