GA doe
« on: October 08, 2010, 04:50:00 PM »
took my first shot of the year last night, and connected.   i was about 10ft up a big red oak that was dropping pretty good. when her and another doe fed into about 8yards. shot her with a bow that i made, cx heritage 150's, and an old bear razorhead with the bleeder in. got both lungs and the top of her heart. she only went about 40 yards and i watched her fall.

Way to go!!!
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Thats awsome to take a deer with a weapon crafted with your own hands.
