A couple for the birds...

Being I`m spending a lot of "House" time of late with a torn calf muscle I decided to do some stuff inside. My first project was to turn some longbow killed Turkey wings into some Turkey killing arrows. I split the feathers with a box cutter and put them in my clamp and shaped the quills with my Wifes emory board...don`t tell her.
Trimmed them after they were glued on by hand. I think they turned out purty good.RC

How long until you can get back out? All the best in your recovery.

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Those look great. I never was any good at shaping feathers by hand. Praying also for quick recovery of your injury!

Nice project to keep you occupied. I hope you recovery quickly and fully. I am sure the local hogs and deer are breathing a bit easier with you laid up.
