Mike Hayes FINALLY got a web site up. I cant for the life of me find it. I'll dig it up tomorrow and post it up. One of the BEST longbows I have ever shot. I always swore I would get one before I left Colorado, and never did. I will some day. Mike is a great guy, and his bows are top of the line. SUPER popular in the Colorado area.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8

I used one of his bows to shoot the buffalo in my avatar pic. they are truly great shooting bows and the fit/finish is also top quality.

One of Mikes longbows, also have a three piece.
Black Canyon Bows are the most forgiving, smooth, easy pointing bows i have shot. Have lots of bows but Mikes bows are always the go too bows for me. can't say enough good things about them.

I have always wanted to shoot one of Mike's bows. The only problem I see with the web site is there are no "In Stock" bows    :bigsmyl:

Mike is under the radar...even in Colorado. I think if he wanted to be a full time bowyer Black Canyon Bows would be mentioned with all the other top tier bows that everybody knows about.

My next new bow will be a Black Canyon...Since I was 13 I have wanted a one piece Black Canyon longbow. I waited so long that now I don't know if I want a longbow or one of his fantastic recurves...guess I'll have to have both. SOON!

Zmonster is right about the Quiver, it is a mantis. My bows all wear EFA Quivers or a side Quiver Mantis!!!  Jake FR you will not be sorry with your choice. tell Mike hi for me.

I'm Mike Hays, owner of Black Canyon Bows. I do actually exist and have recently joined in with Trad Gang, a late bloomer I guess. I thank everyone for the great comments made about my bows. Some of you I know and others I hope to meet. That kind of feedback makes it worth while! I have been making bows since the late 1980's and have always kept sort of low key but the beast seems to be wanting to be set free so I'm making more bows now and will likely advertise a little soon.

I do have a website at  www.blackcanyonbows.com.  I am still constructing the site but it has the basic info most would need. I will try to keep my eyes open and be available to answer any questions anyone might have.

Once again thanks for the kind words and talk to you all soon.

Mike

Hi Mike and welcome to the gang. This must be a good omen cause last night I bought one of your TD longbows from the classifieds.   :)

Mike, I checked your web site and all I got was a "Claim this domain" notice.
