A fine bow is now on the way from Montana to Australia. Beth sent me these photographs:
From memory, the limb veneers are zebrawood; the riser is Macassar ebony and rosewood-stained Dymondwood (for low-stretch string). This is the first flared-riser that Dave has made for a one-piece recurve; he did a fine job, eh.
The bow will be around the 65# @ 28" mark, give or take.
Once again, the Windauers have been so helpful and absolutely top-notch in their kind service.
I'll keep you all posted with more photos when she arrives!
