Sold...thanks
« on: October 14, 2010, 08:34:00 PM »
Just picked up a 62 50/30 Morrison ILF.  I have a 28 28 1/2 draw.  All my other bows are in the range of 62 50-51/28's.  I shoot CE 250's  with 150 or 175 points and they all shoot like darts.   TheILF shoots straight, but the arrow move hard left to right, could be right to left...let me say sideways???  I shot a few 55-60 cedars and they shot great??  So long story short what type of carbons would shoot well ???  My arrow lenght is 29-30.  Do I move to 150's .

Any help would be appreicated.

I shot 150's out of that bow with 125-150 grain heads and it shot darts. I have a full 30in draw so it could very well be different.

Sounds like you are over spined. At your draw length that set up should be about 46#.I think the 250's are .400 spine. You could try the 100gr.brass inserts. It would be cheaper then buying arrows.I can send you a couple tomrrow after work.If you want to give that a whirl.Jim

Cut a 150 to 30"s and put 225 grains up front and you will be right there. If ya go to 29.5"s than you will need 250 or a tad more. Shawn
