New Shaman

Well the wait is over the 54" 49lb@27" Shaman I ordered arrived yesterday its a pretty neat little bow 54" osage/bocote. To start things off I added a new custom SBD 10 strand custom bow string with padded loops and yarn puffs.I did about 45 minutes of shooting yesterday and another hour this morning. All I can say is this little bow shoots great it's fast, quiet and pretty easy to to shoot with accuracy for such a small/short bow. Workmanship looks great wood is pretty and if I was to do anything to the bow I might add a beavertail leather grip to beef up the grip size as the stock grip is Ok but feels alittle small to my hand. Still if it ain't broke why mess with it I was shooting softball size groups at 18 yards as is. Overall I am pretty happy with this bow and was surpised at the speed and quietness it produces. Here are a few pictures I am taking the Shaman hunting this afternoon maybe I can added a few hog/deer pictures tonight

Yep I thought it was a very attractive combo too.
We have a couple more that should be arriving at homes soon.

Mike the osage/bocote is very sharp looking pictures don't do it any justice. When I hung it on the bow rack with several other exotic custom bows it just jumps out at you. The bow sure draws well for a short recurve very smooth. I am only drawing 27" but still I have owned several other brand 54" bows that felt like they were starting to stack at 27/28 inches. The Shaman is also quick for a 54" bow I have only had one 54" bow any faster and it was carbon/foam core limbs.

Wow. That is a very nice looking bow.
You don't hear too much about these but I'm sure they are awesome. Gotta love the static tips.
