I want to get back on the ground hunting, this is the last year of stand hunting for me. Just hearing to many people getting hurt, I broke an ankle 10 years ago, back when I was younger and thought I was invincible.
Anyways reading all these ghillie posts and I want one, but I don't like blindly ordering something online, I'm a touch and feel type. I went to an army surplus store last week and found a string ghillie for $75, was happy with the price, tried it on and oh my, I felt like big foot ! Furry strings all over. It would be great cover, but them strings would cause problems on the arms and face mask getting into the bowstring, I would need a weedwacker to trim the dang thing. I have been reading about one called Bush in a bag, does it need modification so the suit does not get cought in the bow ?
Sorry for a repeat post on ghillie's but I just want to know the truth about trimming them and problems with bow string catching in them. I don't need to spend another $100 on something To hang in the closet. I think they are the way to go, don't need to be sold on them, but do want to know the truth about bow string issues. Thanks guys
Dan
