Compressed Cedar ?
« on: May 23, 2007, 06:50:00 PM »
Do they have the cedar aroma?I've recently bought some very expensive shafts that are worthy of only tomato stakes. While working them I notice they didn't have the smell of cedar.

Alaskan Forgewoods were made from Alaskan Hemlock, not cedar.

The original Forgewoods (compressed cedar) haven't been made in a long, long time.  They will never, ever be made again. The process is probably no longer legal or simply too toxic for anyone to duplicate....Van
