Paraffin wax on shooting glove

I've heard of some folks soaking their shooting glove in paraffin wax to prolong its life and waterproof it. since I live on the wet coast I'd like to try this.

For those who do this, what is the best way to apply the wax???

I don't use paraffin wax on my shooting tab. I rub in mink oil and it keeps the tab from drying out. Makes it slick too for a nice release. I don't hunt in the rain so the waterproofing factor is of no concern to me.

I use paraffin on my tab as well as liberally applying it to my string serving. I just rub it on cold.

I also am the main arrow retriever when my group shoots 3D tournaments. Any arrows I pull that are hard to get out get a coating of paraffin on the point end of the shaft. They pull easily after being lubed.
