Here are some pics of my two does and buck for the show...hope this works, haven't done this in a few years.  Killed the big doe from a stand (center lungs), small doe on the ground shortly after I shot my buck (center lungs).  15 yards doe 1, 10 yards doe 2, 15 yards on the buck (pretty far from lungs).  Robertson Mystical Longbow, 64" 64#, cedar arrows, 145 grain STOS heads.

thanks.  This is my buck from the last show we did for Versus...2008, aired 2009 and 2010 I think...

Here's my 'tweener...got this one last year (2009)...18 yards, heart shot, same heads, same bow, heavy birch arrows...this buck had a brow broken off, a 4th point on his left side, and end of his main beam broken...tough one.

Awesome deer Luke!  Congrats.

That last buck has a neat looking brow how it snakes about.

Can't wait to see the show next year.  The one last year was just awesome.

Bonebuster-first, thanks! I am selling those quivers, that is actually the first one, prototype I guess...they come in a couple of different plaid patterns, you can get matching coats and hats!  I am kinda strange, but I think that is cool.  Great Northern is building them for us.

Thanks Steadman-I like your website, some great stuff.  I am looking for someone to do just what you do, I'll get in touch.

In some respects, Luke, you've opened a can of worms but in a good way.I consider you and Tred as ambassadors of our traditional heritage. Tred has proven by his courage in the face of adversity that he is the real deal. You exhibit an enthusiasm and understanding of the ethical and challenging dimension of our pursuit. The love of the hunt,so to speak, and all that goes with it.Stay humble and thankful. We all look forward to what might develope.

Here's a link to the shows. I haven't seen one yet. But looks good to me! Ordered a catalog too. Sure is nice to see a trad guy wearing plaid on T.V....wow! It was nice to hear a longbow hunter talk, even if briefly, about the importance of our heritage as bowhunters. No "fist-pumping", no high fives, just a soft word of encouragement and recognition of how great that was to kill a whitetail with a longbow. Well done.

Thanks for the email and heads up on this Luke!  Some great pics, and it looks like it will be a fine episode, can't wait to watch it.   As I said before, "you done good" with the first one.

thanks Snag and Mark.  Vesty-we were supposed to do our show this fall with Tred, but it didn't work out.  I am hoping that next year we can make it happen.

Great pics - congrats!  VS needs more film of you doing things the right way.  You're an excellent example of how bow hunting ought to be done.  Keep up the great work.

Now... to get back out into the field... :-D

Plaid IS cool!

I have a Great Northern "Bushbow" that is going to get one of those quivers in plaid!!!

Of course, if there is a matching jacket I gotta have that too!  :archer2:
