MercilessMing, your right on the riser. MRD, you got it right on the limbs. The riser is a 17" triple carbon, the limbs are D longs. Great shooting combo

Thank's for all the complements

Wicked combination, Great looking bow you got there!
Hunting was hazardous, but at least it guaranteed the freedom of the individual.

There is no doubt that the onset of farming saw the end of leasure for the majority of people, who were destined to toil in the fields.

I really like the looks of your bow. I'm pretty new to trad archery. Can you tell me what ilf means? Is the from a maker or something that was pieced together? Thanks!

ILF is very popular in Olympic Target shooting.  But there are also many TradGang sponsers making ILF.  Morrison, Belcher/Sky, TradTech and Dryad.

You can mix and match riser and limbs from different vendors.  Limbs also allowing some adjustment for tillering and weight to some extend.  You can also find Hoyt, PSE, Samick, Win&Win Olympic Style riser and recurves.  I have not seen these vendors making longbow limbs yet.

MercilessMing answered the ilf question and yes this bow is pieced together.

The riser is the new Border Black Douglas triple carbon spine 17" ilf riser, cut 0.32 past center similar to most metal risers.
The riser woods are heritage midnight and Bocote with the carbon reinforcing and buff horn overlay.

The limbs are Bob Morissons carbon foam D longs, longbow limbs 62" on this riser and 41#@28". I already had the limbs and thought they would make a great match with the new riser.

The quiver is from Kanati quivers, it's there 4 arrow hood with a 5 arrow gripper. I'll be shooting a 2 blade broadhead and the 4 arrow hood holds 5 easily.

Thanks for the info!
Great bow!

Have a similar riser on the way in but not with the ILF system, just a normal  BD Swift Super TCS high grip with 65@31 HEX V H core limbs  :D

Blue Tick, it's really not that complicated. The ilf limb attachment just allows you to adjust your weight and tiller at the limb bolts. Other than that it's still just a stick and string.
Trust me way easier to work on than the wheel bow !
