This morning I saw this about 9 yds. in front of my stand.
I thought I better get out of my stand and see where the blood went and I found this along the way.
This is what I finally found.
This doe had a broken right shoulder, I have been seeing her for 3 or 4 years and this morning she finally came by my stand. Since she was crippled I thought she wouldn't go far, ha she fooled me. The shot was a little far back and high but good, as you can see the blood on the rock is where she was standing. She went about 150 yds. and then I had to shoot her again. She was a real survivor till today that is. I was using a Great Northern Bushbow 55#@28" and a 620 grain larch arrow tipped with a 145 grain Eclipse head.
