Gotta love the Dwyer bows, and the quilted maple is my favorite.

Nice Bow!!
Like the dark wood in the riser and the contrast in the limb veneer.

Beautiful bow. I like the Blackwood, reminds me of Ziricote, but with a little more heft I assume.
Do you mind telling me when you ordered your bow? Ordered mine in March and am still waiting, and getting anxious;)

Bucksnort, The order date on mine was March 3rd I believe. I saw Dave at the Wisconsin Trad Archers banquet and put my name down first thing because I know he gets alot of orders there. There is definitely more mass weight in the riser than say my defiant which is mostly zebrawood and osage. What woods did you order?

Thanks, mines should be up pretty soon then. Ordered around the middle of March.
Ordered a Rosewood riser (I can't remember the species, he said he got it from a Zylophone maker and says it's instrument grade something Rosewood, maybe Bolivian Rosewood)? Limbs have a bamboo core, and Curly Aneigre veneers.
I'm liking the looks of that Blackwood though, so a change may be in order;)

Hi Mike,
I sold you the Defiant. I see you have another Dwyer in the family. Looks awesome! I shot with Dave at Horicon Marsh for a 3-D last summer. Awesome guy, got to know him abit and I really like him. His work is spectacular. I never wanted to sell the Defiant and only did so to help my shooting. Thats the problem with owning too many bows. 2 is not too many. KEEP THEM BOTH!

Hey Ken. I sure am glad you decided to sell that bow! I've been shooting that bow exclusively since I picked it up from you and I couldn't be happier. I'm sending it back to Dave to refinish it after the season. Don't worry it's not in bad shape, it's just too pretty a bow to not maintain! And no, I won't be selling either of these.

I LOVE quilted maple!
That is a sophisticated beauty of a bow.
