My attempt at camo
« on: October 27, 2010, 01:12:00 PM »
Here is my bowhunting camp on wheels. I've tried to be somewhat artistic and camo at the same time.

Thanks for looking.

do you not LIKE your trailer? Are you trying to lose it in the woods, Mudd???   :bigsmyl:

Looks great Mudd. Only problem I see is coming back to camp after a hunt and not being able to find your camper.    That actually happened to me and my brother on a fishing trip. I had a tent that was dark brown. We drove by it half a dozen times before we found it. But that's probably just me.  :dunno:

looking good.  Probably blends in better than most pop up blinds.  Just park it in a good spot and open the door in the morning.  Take you r deer from bed.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Hey! You guys are making a habit of putting the maple leaf upside down. LOL

Should turn some heads. I like it.

Mudd, you got any pictures of the inside of your camper you could post?

Nice job Mudd. You have the right idea using the feather and leaves as a stencil. I do all my camo work using a soild color base coat, flat green or a light grey. Then I use fresh cut ferns for a stencil. Using a flat black to over spray the ferns. It comes out very cool looking.

Ted Nugent bowhunts out of a cab over camper that has been permanently parked on the ground and they painted it pink camo. He kills a buck out of it every time he hunts that YO Ranch in Texas. I know.....it's a high fenced operation, but the point I'm trying to make is that Mudd may be onto something. Mudd, you should honestly park that thing near a deer trail and just kick the door open when it's time to hunt!

Good job buddy!
