A Completely New One On Me
« on: October 29, 2010, 07:49:00 PM »
Once tried to keep a McKenzie target in the backyard one season. The does would constantly spar with it and the bucks usually hit it at night. I remember the twins calling me ,at work, when they were about eight and told me that they saw a big mean deer hurt my deer.
The deer broke the antlers on two occasions and disassembled it several times and finally damaged it so badly that I could no longer re-assemble him. They even bent the solid stakes to the ground requiring me to hammer them out.

The attached pic is a new one on me.

The back end is covered with blood. There also was quite a bit of blood on the ground w/i 10 yards of the back of the target. I suppose the rebarr stakes kept it standing.
