No chasing as of yet here in eastern Ohio. They are starting to follow a little but I figure within a week the rut will get going. All buck pics we've been getting up to yesterday they were alone cruising. most have been at night but a few day pics. With the moon gone they ought to pick up the daytime movement. It's coming!!!  :bigsmyl:

I sure hope they are still moving come the 18th--that is when I will be in Ohio.  The moon may be full but I found last year that the first week of November is overrun with hunters and the deer don't move as much--am tryibng a later time this year--hopefully that will work--we will see

I watched three does walk by, 30 yards in front of my stand, Friday morning.  2 hours later, a pair of twin forkhorn bucks came walking along with the lead buck walking with his nose to the ground.  The second buck was just tagging along.  Been seeing some scrapes and rubs too within the past week.  Got two bucks working along a tree line across the road from our house (can't hunt that property) every morning.  So I don't think the rut is in full swing yet, but it's getting closer.

I'm up here near Fort Wayne, IN.

Are you guys having warmer than normal temps out there right now? Headed to SE Ohio next week and the 10 day weather forcast for that area looks warmer than what we're used to here for good action.

I saw one halfhearted chasing event a week or two ago and not much at all since.  We've had crud weather and things are dead here at the moment.

Not seeing any chasing yet but getting alot work on scrapes.  Won't be long.  I am not planning on working much in November.  Should be interesting.
