Best trad harvest
« on: November 04, 2010, 01:56:00 PM »
I harvested my best archery buck yesterday evening. He was a 10pt the day before I shot him but he had been in a fight and broke 4" off of his main beam and 1 eyeguard. He was chasing a doe when he come by my stand at 10yds and stopped, I picked a spot and the arrow found its mark, he only went 80 yards before piling up. I am shooting a Black Widow PSA III 58# @ 28", gold tip 3555 with a muzzy phantom 125 and a 100gr brass insert. I would love to post a picture but dont know how

I have been archery hunting for 24 years mostly with wheeled bows until last year, I biught a used Black widow and sold all of my compound bows. On the 3rd day of Oklama archery season I harvested a 6pt buck and and 2 does later in the season I have been addicted ever since. There is not a better feeling than harvesting an animal with trad equipment. I would like to thank Crash for posting the picture for me.

Crash, I heard you were having a pretty good year with your bow. I do not know if you remember me but we shot MCAAP together last year. I am taking Rick C. with me in the morning.
