Velcro rest
« on: November 05, 2010, 10:18:00 PM »
Just recently switched to a velcro rest and am very impressed with it. Seems to be real quiet and durable. I think it will outlast the calf hair I had on their previously.

The industrial grade has been my #1 choice. Some the lesser grades will not stay adhered to the bow.

I’m wearing one off my Rose Oak longbow. Arrows fly great and I am shooting it a lot. Nock height?

That is what came on my Blacktail. Bow is a year old now. Shelf and plate are velcro. Had my doughts at first. But it has worked out well.

I just replaced my first velcro with a second piece. I like the little buttons from the sewing supply stores, 6 for 79cents or so. I get about two years out of em and I like to shoot.....

I have worn out velcro and had it rip fletches off.  I prefer leather, rough side up.  Leather is also easier to set up your nock, it doesn't compress like velcro.  Bill
