My insect collection
« on: November 06, 2010, 09:23:00 PM »
Today picked up cricket the mate to grasshopper. They are St. Joe River Bows. Both are 64" bows 51 lbs at my draw. Have not shot cricket yet but love grasshopper.   Crricket has birdseye maple on limbs with antler tips. Grasshopper has tiger stripe maple and antler tips. One more pic of the two of them together. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Wow! That Maple looks so good dyed like that, and they look to be serious shooters.

Fine lookin' bows.  Really like that cricket.      Do you really need those limbsavers on 'em?  Good luck with 'em.

Joe the limbsavers are habit I put them on all of my bows. They aid in noise reduction. Grasshoper is as quiet as a longbow unless I pluck the string.

I love it!!!

I really like their 64 inch recurves. They remind me of the old Bears. I tried one at K-zoo, it felt smooth as a longbow with some zip!!
Just one more step please!

Thanks guys got to shoot cricket tonight now have tough decision which one to shoot. It shot great and bare shaft tuned with arrows that I already had. St Joe River Bows are lookers but I really like the way they shoot.
