I seen the the Missouri and Ohio threads and wondered if there was a thread for the Mississippi guys so I did a search and nothing came up. So i'll be the first to start one, if there is one please feel free to direct me to it.
Shot a doe on October 18, 2010 Southern Zone II. Evening hunt approximately 6:20 pm had 4 doe come out working through a pinch point in a swamp drainage. Made a good shot at 13 yards and short tracking job, she ran 49 paces after the hit. Was shooting a Centaur Chimera 50#@28 I draw 30", the arrow was a GT 7595 tipped with a Woodman Elite 175 non vented total wt 520 grains.

John, good to hear back from you as well.I'll e-mail you tomorrow, as I looked you up in the phone book and found no listing. We can certainly get together and shoot, however if it's OK with you I,ll take lessons.By the way I did'nt comment on your doe, nice job.I cant wait to kill my first.I've only trad hunted one season with no kills.(notice I did'nt use the word harvest). We killed in 1976 and I'm doing it the same way now.
