Thanks Buckster. I will. I keep wanting to look at the bows on his site. The one I ordered is just like the one on his home page. Gray Diamond wood. Lin

I'm going with the gray(charcoal?) Dymondwood. Basic package. It looks so good to me now, but I may upgrade the limbs yet. Long riser with medium limbs for a 62 inchbow.

Lin,

That bottom riser in Steve O's picture is mine, Macassar with Bacote stripe. I am currently hunting with it and hope to get blood on it sometime this season. Mine is a 60" bow and shoots and feels like most 62" bows. Very smooth with zero stacking.

I have a question. I hope this is OK Bullfrog. I figure it goes along with your thread.

I have a few months to nail down the particulars on my bow. I am shooting a 50 lb bow now. I am thinking of dropping the poundage to 45. I see so many guys say the TT's draw seems lighter than it is. If that is true, maybe I should stick with 50 lbs. What do you think? Does it seem lighter than it is?

Straitshot,
We were writing at the same time. Thanks for that. It's a beauty. Is it the longer riser?  My draw is 28 1/2 btw.

Yea, that would look great with the Charcoal riser. I'm like a kid over this.

Lin,

Maybe this will help--my buddy Chimaster with a WI buck he took a couple weeks ago.

44# TT with a bamboo shaft and Wensel Woodsman.  Complete passthru.

They feel lighter in the draw AND they shoot faster than most at the same draw weight.

Mine feels like 51 lbs, the actual weight I ordered, but it really smokes an arrow.
Maybe go 47-48 #'s if you are unsure, then you get a Goldilocks deal.... Not too heavy, not too light, JUST RIGHT, LOL.

Thanks. I dont know if it helps or hurts.  :)   It just makes me more anxious. That is a beautiful buck. I want this bow to be so pleasant to shoot, I will practice more and I thnk it will do just that.  You're a good salesman SteveO.
