ASAT blind anyone?
« on: November 11, 2010, 06:05:00 PM »
I am looking at getting my 1st ground blind (I know it's kind of late in the year for that but....) and am wondering if anyone has had a chance to get a close look at the ASAT Reaper that is new for this year?
I know that the DB seems to be the most highly rated but hear that the quality is not as good as it was since Primos has taken charge.

All thoughts greatly appreciated.

I did not have one of these, but used to have the Quicky Blind ASAT, and found it to be a real pain to hike in with.  Now I'm back to using my Ameristep Pop-up blind.

Decent price on the Reaper. Where can you get them?

I have one and like it.

I think you can order them straight from ASAT.

I don't think I would want to hike far with any of the pop-ups.

swp, how is the window set-up?

They are big! I think they could have done more to make them open one-half of each window instead of just the full opening. But you open one window and you have a nice view. Interior is super dark too.
