Man them yotes are tough

Shot a nice coyote this AM. About a 15 yard shot he was broadside stopped and I hit a bit far back but still got some lung and liver. He got through about 100 yards of CRP and a nother 200 yards across a picked corn field into a huge rock pile that would take a small dozer to move. He went 300+ yards with a blood trail anyone could follow. I mean their was blood in his tracks and both sides a foot away and not just drops. Very dark red blood.

Been there, done something similar.
I ended up getting mine. He ran a total of about 300 yards and took refuge in an old house foundation. I didn`t have much blood, and I would have not found him if he had not been growling at me.
If you can hit a `yote with an arrow you know you got it going on!

Though luck Doug. That should be good enough shooting when that buck shows up though. Keep after them.
