Fredrick Scores
« on: November 12, 2010, 11:41:00 PM »
I got the spike buck pictured below last Wednesday evening right at sunset here in western Iowa. The bow I used was my 58" 54@28 Fredrick Yeoman longbow. The arrow used was a Grizzlystik Sitka with 184 grains of Grizzly broadhead. Total arrow weight being 532 grains. Pictured with the buck is my Wiemeraner and #1 huntin buddy Shonka. (One of us had to take the picture and he won the toss). He had also already found the buck while I was engrossed in tracking and following the bloodtrail. Thanks for looking.

Yes Tradbower, Shonka/Wiems make great pointers and retrievers. Wimes are very versital. I have lucked out and Shonka has real soft mouth. He will bring home wild Turkey eggs in his mouth and stack them on porch without breaking them. Places live possums in the front yard still playing possum. We play fetch with a deer antler. Needless to say I have come out of the house and found deer sheds laying in the driveway and him ready to play.
Thanks everyone for veiwing and the kind words.
