Any thoughts on a schafer long bow

anyone give me some ideas , ive found a reasonabley priced  schafer long bow thats just my specs i was wondering how they shoot ? thanks chuck?

I don't know but get it!! I'm sure I have something on the Bow Rack to use to try and trade you out of it  :wavey:

Can't go wrong with a Schafer recurve or long bow. I wouldn't pass it up if its a good deal. Good luck

I hunted with one last year and it was a good shooting longbow!

Never owned one but one of my lb friends does. Sure would like to beat him out of it.

chuckbow,  i have a 1pc schafer longbow and it is a phenominal bow, like all schafers. the silvertip recurve gets most of the attention but dave's longbows are a well kept secret in my opinion. i'd get the bow either way. i you didn't like it you'd have no trouble with a trade/sale.

Got a 64" 1 piece and a 60" 3 pc both outstanding workmanship and super smooth to shoot.

Get it,you will not be sorry.I have a 64"3pc recurve and a 66"3pc longbow.Both are real shooters but I seem to prefer the longbow.Smooth,slim, very sleek and like all silvertips,beautiful.

I shot my friends a couple of weeks ago and cant get it out of mind. They shoot really nice. IMO

thanks, finally got it done she will be here friday 2009 schafer long bow horn overlay on handle checkered bocote grip with quilted maple veneers over bamboo cores horn tips 64" 51 @ 28 thanks fellas, had to sell two good ones to get it but! well you know how it goes!!
