Jonathan, I thought that I would like the thinner Bubinga handle, but after shooting it I prefer the Red Stripe more. Also, the added weight helps keep my bow more stable.

The thread has gotten quite as quiet as of late. Anyone been out shooting there T/D's.

Just shot my greenstripe this morning.

Here are the specs:
riser: early greenstripe Bear TD
bow quiver: Bighorn
limbs: Rose Oak #1 -- 51# at 29"
string: SBD 6-strand
arrow: 517 gr Traditional Only carbon

Getting my eye tuned up for deer season. Arrows are tuned, bow is in great shape. The season will be here before you know it.

There is a photo of me shooting the greenstripe somewhere earlier in this thread. I also posted photos of two of my other Bear TDs.

Gotcha. Once I tried the #3's I really liked  them. I draw 30 also and they are much smoother.

Those two tones are looking good. I think I may need one on the rack soon. Just not sure if it should be an A or B

Why not one of each -- you would have twice the fun.

I have an A "black and tan" and I like the way it feels and shoots with Rose Oak #3 limbs. It makes a smooth 60" bow. At 53 pounds it it substantially faster than my Grayling 60# limbs were.

I am going to have to stop looking at this thread,

Had a heart breaker this weekend....I have been eagerly awaiting my new bb2 hex 6 limbs to go with my black and tan 'A' riser.

I was up at the factory and we tried the new limbs in the riser, everything looked great until we drew the bow and let down, only to find out that the string didn't track back into the grooves. Upon inspection we discoverd that my riser limb pockets are out of twist, riser is shot, so cant shoot the new limbs from it.

Called bear but they don't do repairs.

still reeling, :-(......,do I try and sell the limbs or wait to see what comes up?, not too keen on the new risers.

Just have to wait and see what turns up, you never know, might end up with a better riser one day to use with the new limbs.
