Gary Logsdon's bow  my shirt --  the story behind that bow--   I bought it from Al Rieder
quiet a few years back -  he said he did not own it -  was selling for - OK forget the name.
It has a Black Widow Spider web finish --  a fiber glass piece was put on the shelf - because of a crack or chip --  they did a good job-- it did not have any small bears --   I sent that bow to Bow Doc-- before he did it -- it was UGLY
you can see the results-  Bow Doc put the number
on it  -  his number --    this bow has the indented shelf--   I do not know if it is original -   After I got it back --- it developed a crack in the handle--  The Bow Doc  fixed =-
Gary came by the Bow and Quiver for the work he did on photography for my web--   -- Gary got a good deal--   :) ))))))))))00
not many lefty B's were made --   When I showed finished bow to Al Reider--  he was surprised
The poster shows my Grousehaven Shirt and leather  bolo like Fred used --
I now have Bear License for the wool Shirts and coming  Cotton Flannels --  simply put - the best in the market - made in the USA--  so far I have had 0 returns on anything -   I will be back on TG soon--   limited supply on shirts and jackets
Gary enjoy the Bow --    Classic Bowman   RT

Here is one you don't see shot every day. Took it out this afternoon for a "Sunday" even though it's Monday drive. Love it as a shooter, but wish it was a hunting weight at my short draw length. It is a Takedown

I just put some bees wax on the alignment screw and the male part that fits under the riser socket lip. Guess what ?  you were right the creaking has stopped.

PS - Passed the IBEP course last Sunday.

I put some bees wax in the socket. on the screw itself and on the male part of the limb that fits into the riser.
The creaking noise has disappeared.

Thanks - Hobgoblin

Any Tradgangers have success in the woods with their Bear Takedowns yet this season?

My new to me Greenie. From the tree stand we call Tarzan because of the wild grape vines.

Hopefully some time this year I'll be able to show it with a deer.

Had to come back for another look at the pretty bows here.
I don't have one, but really like them.

Here is a photo of my 5 Bear Take Downs. The first one is a Type 1 1970 lefty B-handle with the original early white-tipped limbs that had the grooves in the base. I saw one just like mine (a lefty)sell on **** for $3,850 this year. So, I'm keepin' her! The second one is a blonde Type 2 B-handle that I take on out of state hunts.

These things look a lot better laying on the side of a nice buck.  Here is one I shot in Jersey with an "A" takedown....

...and here is one of our Va. bucks that I shot last week.

FINALLY got the photo of my 5 Bear TDs two posts above this one. Here I show my Type 2 B-handle still hot after taking a Boar Hog in SC. Below that are my two 1970 woodies (B & A handles).

I really like the adjustable side plate on the mag risers.  Was that an option on the early Bear wood risers, or do you think it was done later on the one you have?

Here is another view of the current collection  of lefty Bear TDs hanging on the vertical Bear bow rack. The second photo is the most recent purchase of a mid-1980s green stripe TD.
