Tomwatson, they are Bubbinga risers. What's not to get. The standard way of building them is with white glass just inside the black glass on the belly and back of the riser.
Way too many contrasting colors going on there "but that's just me".
One of there builders put red glass there instead of white by mistake and they set them aside, not knowing what to do with them. Then along comes BigJim. When I found out, I took all of them in lieu of my order of standard risers that were due to me any minute.
If you buy one and don't like it or put a deposit down on one and don't like it, I'll refund you money and sell it to the next guy in line.
Thanks, bigjim

That's what I figured Jim. So the white outline of glass is Red. I own a Dymondwood model and I knew that the glass under the black is already red. I will have to keep this in mind.

Here's a new Bubinga A with Bear #3 limbs. The new limbs are surprisingly good in the  performance dept. I was thinking I'd sell the limbs as soon as I got em. However, the Bubinga wedges match the bow great and the limbs shoot with one of my after-market limbs and better than another pair of after-market.

You can see in the picture below my Bubinga has the white glass later between the glass and the riser. The red would look cool but I like this fine white layer in my bow.  If I had to decide between a 12-week wait for the white layer or right now for BigJim's red layer, I'd save the time and go red!  My serial # is 12-008.

Craig, good to hear from you. Maybe you could enlighten us about the current happenings with the new Bear T/D. I thought a Walnut riser would look really neat. I heard Bear only produced about two of these in the past as prototypes.

Felix:  You know it's just not right to keep a great lady locked up like that, I think she would really like to be set free, kinda like sleeping beauty, just too damn nice to be laying there doing nothing. Now, I know a left handed Prince that is willing to set her free!!!!!!Get my drift??  Now I know why it's so hard to find any LH wood risers, you have them all..RW
