Chuck,
Although I'm a vintage Bear Quiver fan, I really like the Great Northern side mount quiver on my A Handle.

Also, my #2 RER limbs on an A riser shoot amazingly well!!! I draw about 28.5 inches and they're shooting a 575 grain arrow much flatter than I would have expected.

The other Bear TD aficionados will appreciate this.

I recently lucked into an old-stock but new green-stripe TD that had spent its entire life in the back room of a sporting goods store. It still has the stickum from the factory stickers on it (the store owner peeled them off). It is a very early, low serial number riser with the green tip limbs that came new with it. It is absolutely new and spotless.

I'll try to post some photos this weekend after I get it set up and shoot it a few times.

It is Bear TD number 5 for me.

The green-stripe was only made in the B riser.

I've got a new two tone that I can't get quieted down.  Any suggestions?

Have you tried putting moleskin on the limbs where they mate up against the riser?

I wrap mine from the back, just shy of where the metal on the riser covers it around the bottom / top around the curved portion and up onto the flat portion.

For a 60" bow.....

What are the Pros/Cons,Differances,Performance, Between an "A" handle,with #3 limbs... Or a "B" handle, with #1 limbs?

I believe Papa Bear prefered a "B" handle, with #1 limbs. Wondering why??? I'm looking to get a new Bear T/D, for what will probly be my last bow. Want to make the right choice!!!!!

(Dad always said, "Do it right, the 1st time! You'll never have to do it again...")
I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

I have had #1 and #3 limbs on a B riser. At my 29" draw I like the #3 making a 64" bow.

I've wrapped some around the top curved spot, but I'll try the backside too.  Thanks

OK, Bear TD Fans:
This afternoon I set up the greenstripe TD that I acquired. As you may remember, it had spent its entire life in the back room of a sporting goods store until I bought it recently. It is old stock, but it is new.

Here is the really low serial number:

And of course this is important, here is how it shoots. First shot with only a guess as to the proper arrow. Additional shots confirmed its smooth shooting and accuracy. I may have to take this little beauty out deer hunting some time.

Thanks, Woodchucker. All of the green-stripe bows were B risers with #1 limbs making a 60" bow.
