I grew up in Delafield (SE Wisconsin).  I remember going up north somewhere when I was a kid and bowhunting w/ a friend and his dad.  I want to say it was BlackRiver Falls?  Anyhow, it's pretty up there and I would love to get back some day.  Thanks for sharing.

So, Schlagger, how'd you end up getting it out of the woods without him there to help? Is that a new part of the Mayor's duties?

Very nice, can I ask you were you purchased the hat and face mask?

Stone Knife, the cap and face mask were made and sold by Winona Mills in Minnesota, which is no longer in business. Every once and a while some of their camo shows up in the classifieds.

Really enjoyed your story and pictures...It's sometimes hard to get in the hunting mode without a good supply of doughnuts.  As a fellow hunter with a cabin in the Wisconsin woods, I can really relate to your fun!
