tim strickland and "the stick"

Anyone have one of his bows or shot one?  I like the looks of them.   Tim has a good show and some good shooting tips.  How is the traditional DVD he has out?

I'm familiar with all these products. I've killed two whitetails with  a LH The Stick this year (58", 46# at 26" draw). I also use Tim's Helix broadhead. Both deer were complete pass-throughs; 21 and 16 yards with both deer down in sight at 52 and 59 yards.  The DVD changed the way I aim with traditonal.

Because Tim is such a perfectionist archer I knew his bow would be a terrific shooter and a very good feel which it is. I like the grip best and the head to toe camo job is super. I'm hunting with this bow over my Bear TDs, Blacktail, Predators, Black Widow, Fox, and Gamemaster.

Oh, the cushion plunger-style springy rest is fantastic also!

Does his video teach string walking?  From watching him shoot on his show it looks like that is what he is doing.  I have always wondered how they tune for string walking to get good arrow flight.  Just wondering if he explains this in his video.

bubinga,
The DVD covers many archery topics. The most important of which is proper form. It also explains Tim's reason for string walking that made perfect sense to me as I come from a similar perspective. In fact, I changed from "gap" shooting (pseudo instinctive) to string walking after watching the DVD. It ain't sights but it sure added some effective range to my shooting -- immediately!

You can get all Tim's stuff from his website: stricklandarchery.  Of course he has a great deal on test-driving his bow at this time.
